AP is a program run through the College Board.

AP provides rigorous college-level curriculum for high school students, with the opportunity for students to earn college credit upon successfully taking the end-of-year AP exam. Sophomores may begin the AP program by taking AP World History. ALL juniors and seniors are encouraged to take AP classes.

Why take the AP exam? A score of 3 or more could mean college credit!
