Athletic Registration

REGISTRATION FOR 22-23 SPRING SPORTS WILL START ON JANUARY 9TH, 2023
To start the registration process, please follow the steps below:

  1. Register online at FamilyID.
  2. Have a current physical and impact test on file.
  3. Pay for participation fees and ASB card online after season begins.

ATHLETIC REGISTRATION:

Visit FamilyID to register for KHS sports.

Before participating in tryouts or practice, Students must complete athletic registration. Registration is done 3 times per school year, once for each season. Sport Participation Fees are paid separately and are due before the first game/meet. Do not make any payments for the 2022-23 school year until the season begins.

PHYSICAL:

Before any athletic participation, Students must have a current physical on file in the Athletic Office. Physicals expire every 2 years. You can pick up a NKSD Physical Form in the Athletic office or download online at: http://khs.nkschools.org/athletics/athletic_registration
PCHS will provide Sports Physicals on Wednesday, February 1st, from 1:00-4:00 in the KHS Health Room. Call 360-377-3776 to make an appointment.

CONCUSSION (IMPACT) TESTING:

Before any athletic participation, Students must have a current concussion test date on file in the Athletic Office. Concussion tests expire every 2 years. Spring Sports Impact Testing  Dates: 2/21, 2/22, amd 2/23 after school in the KHS Library. Bring your laptop.

PARTICIPATION FEES:

Before competing in a contest/game, athletes shall pay a sports participation fee- $110* per sport with a maximum "out-of-pocket" cost of $220 ($440 per family) per year, 3rd sport is free.

ASB CARD:

Before participating in tryouts or practice, Students must purchase an ASB Card ($35). These can be purchased online or at the Student Store.

STUDENTS QUALIFYING FOR FREE/REDUCED LUNCH:

will also qualify for a waiver of participation fees and ASB card fee. Apply here after August 24th for the 2022-23 school year. You must also complete a Consent to Share form and return it to the Athletic office.

FINES:

Before competing in a contest/game, students must pay any outstanding fines. You can pay fees and fines online or at the Student Store. https://wa-northkitsap.intouchreceipting.com/

ELIGIBILITY:

Students must be enrolled at North Kitsap School District with Kingston High School as their school of record. They must maintain passing grades.

INSURANCE:

Before athletic participation, students must have health insurance that covers school sports.

OTHER FORMS:

If applicable, please complete the forms below and submit to the Athletic Office.

  • RUNNING START STUDENT CONTRACT- Students enrolled in Running Start must fill out their classes on this form and get approval from the principal, counselor, athletic director and their parent or guardian.
  • HOME BASED EDUCATION STUDENT CONTRACT- Students who access Home-Based Instruction must fill out their academic plan on this form and get approval from the principal, counselor, athletic director and their parent or guardian.
  • ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION STUDENT CONTRACT - Students enrolled in an Alternative Education program must fill out their classes on this form and get approval from the principal, counselor, athletic director and their parent or guardian.
  • FOREIGN EXCHANGE STUDENT CONTRACT- Students who have transferred to this country for one year (foreign exchange students) or who are leaving the country for one year need to fill out this form.
