2024 Summer School Header

This summer, North Kitsap School District (NKSD) is thrilled to present the Summer School Program, a valuable resource to bolster students' academic journey. This program's dynamic online learning environment caters to a diverse range of educational needs and targets students in grades 9 through 12.

Program Overview:

  • Credit Recovery: This is a fantastic opportunity for students to regain control of their academic journey. The courses, tailored to meet individual needs, will be offered at no cost to current NKSD students. This session, designed to fit into your summer schedule, runs from July 8, 2024, to August 9, 2024.
  • Initial Credit: We offer initial credit courses for $250.00 per semester for students eager to get a head start. This extended session, from May 7, 2024, to August 9, 2024, provides ample time for students to delve into their chosen subjects.
  • Space is Limited: The NKSD summer School Program has a limited number of seats available. The seats are prioritized for upper-level students and then offered to lower grades. Additional seats become available when students complete their courses, and those on the waitlist are offered spots. This system ensures that as many students as possible can benefit from this excellent educational opportunity during the summer.

Summer School offers a flexible and enriching way for students to progress in their educational journey, overcome past academic challenges, or enhance their learning experiences over the summer. We urge you to seize these opportunities to either catch up or advance in your academic career.
