Tutoring

While at KHS, students may take advantage of several tutoring and tutorial opportunities. Families may seek outside tutoring help, at a cost to the family, if needed.

Need help in math? Math Help with Mr. Peiguss.  Talk with your math teacher about his availability.

 

Kitsap Regional Library offers LIVE online tutoring Monday-Saturday 4PM-10PM. Visit the KRL Website for details on this service called Brainfuse.

Khan Academy (www.khanacademy.org) provides free online tutorials for students. While their content is focused heavily on math and science, they offer videos and lessons in a wide range of topics and class subjects.

KHS Tutorial & Study Hall Program

  • KHS students have the opportunity to participate in morning tutorial program. All freshmen are required to have Wednesday and Thursday morning tutorials (7:55-8:28 am). Math and English intensive tutorials are also available.  

  • All students are required to have a Thursday afternoon Study Hall (1:45-2:25 pm).  

Independent Tutoring
