Kingston High School Athletes of the Month

September 2019

Garrett Sitting Dog, Football, grade 12.
Garrett has been a 4-year Baseball and Football player at KHS.

He is co-captain of the Football team, which had its first 3-0 start in school history this year, in part due to Garrett’s 4 TDs and 400 yards rushing. Garrett is also a defensive starter. He has been selected for the  All-Conference Football League as a Sophomore and Junior. Garrett  is a leader in the classroom and has been nominated for  Student of the Month several times at KHS.

Caitlin Tobin, Girls Soccer, grade 9.
Caitlin Tobin moved up here from Tacoma last year. As a freshman at KHS, she walked into the important and difficult position of goalie for our Varsity team and had an immediate impact.

Though the team is still building and not vying for 1st place in our league we have become competitive and having Caitlin is a major part of that. She sustained a concussion recently leaving her on the sideline, but let me know how much she wants to get back out there and help her team. I expect Caitlin to continue grow and be a 1st team all Olympic League player in her future seasons as a Buccaneer.
