 ATHLETIC REGISTRATION

Announcing FamilyID - Athletics

Greetings!

We are excited to announce that we are now offering the convenience of online registration through FamilyID (www.familyid.com). FamilyID is a secure registration platform that provides you with an easy, user-friendly way to register for our programs, and helps us to be more administratively efficient and environmentally responsible. When you register through FamilyID, the system keeps track of your information in your FamilyID profile. You enter your information only once for each family member for multiple uses and multiple programs. Click HERE to register for KHS sports:  

  • ATHLETIC REGISTRATION & EMERGENCY CARD:   
    Before participating in tryouts or practice, ALL participants must complete athletic registration. Registration is done one time per school year.  
    Sport Participation Fees are paid separately, and are due before the first game/meet. Do not make any payments for the 2020-21 school year until sports resume.
  • ASB CARD: Before participating in tryouts or practice, ALL participants must purchase an ASB Card ($30). These can be purchased online or at the Student Store.

  • PHYSICAL:Before any athletic participation, ALL participants must have a current physical on file in the Athletic Office. Physicals expire every 2 years. You can pick up a NKSD Physical Form in the Athletic office or download online at: http://khs.nkschools.org/athletics/athletic_registration                                                                     Please return the completed physical to the Athletic Office.

  • CONCUSSION TESTING:Before any athletic participation, ALL participants must have a current concussion test date on file in the Athletic Office. Concussion tests expire every 2 years and are completed with the Athletic Trainer. Check with Athletic office for testing schedule.
  • FINES: Before competing in a contest/game, ALL participants must pay any outstanding fines.
  • PARTICIPATION FEES: Before competing in a contest/game, All athletes shall pay a sports participation fee- $110* per sport with a maximum "out-of-pocket" cost of $220 ($440 per family) per year, 3rd sport is free. 
    *Students qualifying for reduced lunch:  $55.00 per sport (see Athletics office)
    *Students qualifying for free lunch:  No Fee (see Athletics office)

  • ELIGIBILITY:ALL participants must be enrolled at North Kitsap School District with Kingston High School their school of record. They must maintain passing grades (i.e. pass 5 classes in a 6 period schedule).
  • INSURANCE:Before any athletic participation, ALL participants must have health insurance that covers school sports.

SPORTS SPECIFIC SAFETY GUIDELINES & CONSENT (Print, sign and return Specific Sports Form to school or complete during FamilyID registration.)

If applicable, please complete the forms below and submit to the Athletic Office. 
RUNNING START STUDENT CONTRACT- Students enrolled in Running Start must fill out their classes on this form and get approval from the principal, counselor, athletic director and their parent or guardian.
 
HOME BASED EDUCATION STUDENT CONTRACT- Students who access Home-Based Instruction must fill out their academic plan on this form and get approval from the principal, counselor, athletic director and their parent or guardian.  
ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION STUDENT CONTRACT - Students enrolled in an Alternative Education program must fill out their classes on this form and get approval from the principal, counselor, athletic director and their parent or guardian.
 
FOREIGN EXCHANGE STUDENT CONTRACT Students who have transferred to this country for one year (foreign exchange students) or who are leaving the country for one year need to fill out this form.
